History

Originally formed in 1965 RBR Potatoes Ltd was the brainchild of Wal Richmond, Mike Brighton and Eve Reeve, who had all worked as potato merchants in Lincolnshire

In 1967 the business's current premises at Carlton Farm, North Walsham, Norfolk, was acquired. Originally a fruit farm with a few wooden sheds, the site has been progressively developed to its current 12 acres with refrigerated and ambient storage, grading and transportation facilities, and modern offices, with 200ha of arable land.

The company is proud of its long history in the potato industry, and has built up solid relationships with most of the UK's leading supermarket chains, and with growers throughout the length and breadth of the country.

RBR (Crops) Ltd remains a family business, with one of the founders, Mike Brighton, as chairman, and his sons Mark and Stuart two of the company's directors
